Volumio Preciso - Dual-Mono DAC and Preamplifier

Preciso is a standalone digital-to-analogue converter with two ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M DACs, one for each channel. Mirrored dual-mono circuitry and separate linear supply stages for the analogue and digital sections distinguish its internal architecture.

USB, optical, coaxial and I2S-over-HDMI inputs connect a computer or a separate digital transport. USB and I2S support PCM up to 768 kHz/32-bit and DSD512. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs feed an amplifier, with hardware volume control allowing preamplifier operation.

The front display and rotary controls provide direct access to source selection and level. Preciso is a DAC rather than a network streamer; pair it with a transport such as Rivo or Rivo Plus when network playback is required. Its I2S pinout must be matched to the connected source.
