Volumio Primo V2 - Network Streamer and DAC

Primo V2 is a network music player with an integrated ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC. It connects directly to a line-level amplifier or active speakers through balanced XLR or unbalanced RCA outputs, making a separate external DAC optional.

The internal DAC supports PCM playback up to 192 kHz/24-bit and offers seven digital filters. A coaxial S/PDIF output and USB audio output provide alternative paths to a separate DAC. The hardware-controlled preamplifier mode also allows connection to a suitable power amplifier.

Volumio OS brings streaming services, radio and personal music libraries into one interface, with Premium features included. Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi and control from the Volumio app or a browser provide flexible operation. The Classic and Florence Edition finishes share the same audio platform; this is the ES9038Q2M generation, not Primo V3.
