NuPrime CDT-9 - CD Transport

The NuPrime CDT-9 is a dedicated CD transport that sends digital audio to a separate DAC. An ARM control processor and Philips laser-control and decoding circuitry handle disc reading and error correction. The coaxial output uses a dedicated isolation transformer, while optical, AES/EBU and HDMI I2S outputs provide additional system connections.

Its selectable sample-rate converter can resample CD playback from 44.1 kHz to higher PCM rates or DoP formats, depending on the selected output. Isolation feet and an aluminium remote control complete the design. An external AC adaptor is included. The LPS-212 is a separate optional supply; HDMI I2S compatibility must be checked with the partnering DAC.
