A USB audio connection provides the link to a compatible external DAC, while a Gigabit Ethernet connection integrates the server into the home network. The supported file formats include lossless PCM formats and DSD up to DSD256.
The aluminium enclosure measures 200 × 65 × 200 mm. Expansion USB ports support external storage, and a separate external clock input provides an upgrade path; the clock frequency must match the particular hardware revision. An external 12 V supply powers the server.
