NuPrime Evolution DAC-2 - DAC and Preamplifier

The NuPrime Evolution DAC-2 is a full-width DAC and preamplifier using separate ESS9038Q2M converters for the left and right channels. Nine digital inputs and two analogue RCA inputs provide broad source connectivity. Its redesigned supply uses shielded C-Core transformers and a capacitor bank of around 60,000 µF.

A MUSES8820 amplification stage and MUSES72320V resistor-ladder volume circuit allow fixed-level or variable-level output. NuPrime’s sample-rate conversion supports PCM and DSD conversion, with USB playback capability up to PCM 768 kHz and DSD512 on a compatible Windows host. RCA and balanced XLR outputs support integration with active speakers or power amplifiers; HDMI I2S compatibility must be checked separately.
