NuPrime DAC-9X - DAC, Preamplifier and Headphone Amplifier

The NuPrime DAC-9X combines digital conversion, analogue volume control and a headphone amplifier in one component. Separate ESS9028Q2M DACs decode the left and right channels independently. A dual-mono analogue shunt volume circuit and individual input-level adjustment allow it to drive a power amplifier directly.

USB, coaxial, optical and I2S connections sit alongside an analogue RCA input and a proprietary receiver expansion port. The front 6.3 mm headphone socket complements rear balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs. Native DSD capability depends on the host system, and the optional external Bluetooth or Wi-Fi receiver is a separate accessory. HDMI I2S is intended for compatible NuPrime sources.
