KORA Phono Stage - Programmable Phono Preamplifier

The KORA Phono Stage accommodates moving-magnet, moving-coil and variable-reluctance cartridges. Four programmable inputs allow gain, loading, capacitance and connection settings to be stored for different sources.

Cartridge matching with individually stored settings

KORA developed the Phono Stage from the EPC1 D laboratory preamplifier produced by its professional division. High-precision metal-foil resistors in the input stage and polystyrene correction capacitors are distinctive parts of its analogue design.

Gain, impedance, capacitance and connection type can be configured for each input, with settings stored in memory. Two XLR inputs accept balanced or unbalanced cartridge connections, while the RCA inputs provide unbalanced connections. Balanced and unbalanced outputs can operate simultaneously, offering flexibility when connecting an analogue playback system.
