The Obelisk Super Integrated is the enhanced version of Heed’s Transcap integrated amplifier, bringing analogue line inputs, a discrete moving-magnet phono stage and a dedicated headphone amplifier into one full-width component. It delivers 75 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 95 watts into 4 ohms, offering a different power and circuit configuration from the standard Obelisk Integrated.
Its power section combines a custom 250 VA transformer with four 10,000 µF filtering capacitors and two 10,000 µF output capacitors. Heed uses Kemet ALC70 capacitors and a different selection of driver and output transistors, together with revised biasing and time constants, to establish the Super Integrated’s own Transcap tuning.
The MM phono circuit uses discrete semiconductors in a two-stage active/passive RIAA design. Four line inputs, fixed-level and volume-controlled outputs, an Alps Blue Velvet volume potentiometer and relay input selection support a flexible analogue system. An aluminium remote control and standby function complete the everyday controls.
The amplifier also provides an upgrade path for an optional DAC card, a DAC and streaming card combination, and a dedicated external Obelisk Power Supply. These upgrades are separate options and are not included in this base configuration. Digital inputs and network streaming are available only with the corresponding optional cards fitted.
