Heed Audio Elixir - Integrated Amplifier with MM Phono

Elixir brings a line preamplifier, Transcap power amplifier, moving-magnet phono stage and dedicated headphone amplifier together in one compact enclosure. Four line inputs and an MM input let a turntable and several other sources share the same system.

The headphone section uses a Class A circuit with capacitor-coupled outputs. The phono stage draws on the Questar design, while a separate preamplifier output provides a volume-controlled connection for compatible downstream equipment.

With 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms and a 22 cm-wide chassis, Elixir combines loudspeaker listening and personal listening without requiring separate boxes for each function. Its front headphone connector is a standard 6.35 mm jack.
