Asterisk concentrates Heed’s Transcap approach into a compact amplifier for a single pair of 8-ohm loudspeakers. Its three analogue line inputs provide straightforward connections for separate source components, with no DAC or phono stage built into the signal path.

The amplifier supplies 30 watts per channel into 8 ohms and includes a fixed-level RCA output. This makes it a focused option for a compact analogue system, with remote control of volume, source selection and muting.
At 20 cm wide, the enclosure fits installations where space matters. Heed specifies 4.8 kg weight and a maximum 120 VA consumption. Loudspeaker connections accept 4 mm banana plugs.
