Diptyque DP85 EVO - Planar Magnetic Loudspeakers (Pair)

The Diptyque DP85 EVO is the most compact planar loudspeaker in the range. A 1,320 cm² PPBM mid/bass diaphragm works with a 30 cm isodynamic ribbon tweeter driven by neodymium magnets. Its broad radiating surface and dipole operation offer the open presentation of a large panel in a smaller format.

Its EVO rear-panel Acoustic Bass Regulator uses calibrated perforations to control diaphragm movement at low frequencies. Developed with the ONERA aerospace acoustics laboratory, this approach is intended to improve bass linearity and reduce distortion at higher listening levels.

The sandwich mechanical structure takes its inspiration from the Reference model and is designed to limit unwanted resonances. Made in Diptyque’s French workshops, the DP85 EVO combines a black felt finish with a choice of standard Black or White frames. Custom RAL colours are available at an additional charge.
