Diptyque DP160 MKII EVO - Planar Magnetic Loudspeakers (Pair)

The Diptyque DP160 MKII EVO is a large two-way isodynamic loudspeaker with two PPBM mid/bass cells and a 55 cm neodymium ribbon tweeter. Its 1,610 mm panel height and specified 30 Hz bass extension distinguish it from the smaller models in the range.

Its EVO rear-panel Acoustic Bass Regulator uses calibrated perforations to control diaphragm movement at low frequencies. Developed with the ONERA aerospace acoustics laboratory, this approach is intended to improve bass linearity and reduce distortion at higher listening levels.

A rigid sandwich assembly inspired by the Reference model is designed to minimise structural resonance. Each loudspeaker is manufactured in France. Standard Black and White frames are offered alongside custom RAL colours at an additional charge. Diptyque also presents leather finishes, with availability and pricing to be confirmed separately.
