Cambridge Audio MSX Sub 200 is a compact active subwoofer with a dedicated 200-watt amplifier. A 6.5-inch active driver works with passive radiators to provide bass extension without requiring a large enclosure. It is designed to complement compact MSX loudspeakers and other suitable systems.
Digital signal processing manages the low-frequency output, while crossover and phase controls help the subwoofer integrate with the main speakers and room. This allows its contribution to be adjusted for music listening or home-cinema playback.
The compact cabinet is available in Black or White to coordinate with the satellites. Placement and control settings should be adjusted as part of the complete system rather than treating the subwoofer as a separate source of maximum bass.
