Cambridge Audio AXA35 is an integrated stereo amplifier rated at 35 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Its built-in phono stage accepts moving-magnet cartridges, making it a practical starting point for a vinyl-based hi-fi system without an additional phono preamplifier.
Four RCA inputs and a front-panel auxiliary connection accommodate other analogue sources. A headphone socket offers private listening, while the digital display and supplied remote simplify everyday operation. Bass, treble and balance controls allow basic adjustment to the system and room.
The rear USB connection supplies power to suitable accessories; it is not a USB audio input. The AXA35 focuses on analogue amplification and source selection, with a compact full-width design that coordinates with the AXC35 CD player.
