Cambridge Audio Alva Duo is a phono preamplifier supporting both moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges. Separate gain settings allow it to work with these different cartridge types, adding vinyl playback to a line-level amplifier or another suitable audio system.
RIAA equalisation, a subsonic filter and balance adjustment address the specific requirements of record playback. The compact enclosure and RCA connections make the Duo easy to integrate alongside an existing turntable and amplifier.
An integrated headphone amplifier and front headphone socket allow vinyl listening without switching on the main loudspeaker system. Automatic power-down provides an additional convenience when listening has finished.
