The ARCAM AVP45 is a 16-channel surround processor designed for systems using external power amplification. Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro-3D and IMAX Enhanced processing support immersive cinema layouts, while balanced outputs give a suitable connection to a separate multichannel amplifier.

Matrix Channel Assignment provides flexible routing for the chosen speaker configuration. HDMI 2.1a connections support up to 8K/60 Hz or 4K/120 Hz, with eARC for television audio. Network streaming, the Radia AV Control app and Bluetooth with Snapdragon Sound and Auracast keep music playback part of the same system.
Dirac Live Room Correction enables calibration to the room, with optional Bass Control and Active Room Treatment upgrades. This is a processor rather than an AV receiver: the loudspeakers require external power amplifiers.
