NuPrime PRA-9X - Balanced Preamplifier with MM Phono

The NuPrime PRA-9X is a fully balanced analogue preamplifier with a configurable MM phono stage and a front headphone output. Relay-based source switching and MUSES8820-based amplification form part of its low-distortion signal path. Its independent four-channel volume architecture maintains separate positive and negative signal paths for both stereo channels.

Volume adjustment uses electronically selected analogue resistors in fine 0.5 dB steps, with memory recall. The phono input offers three resistance and three capacitance settings for cartridge matching. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs and outputs make the PRA-9X a control centre for analogue separates, while its 6.3 mm headphone connection provides personal listening without an additional amplifier.
