NuPrime AMG HPA - Balanced Headphone Amplifier and Preamplifier

The NuPrime AMG HPA is a fully balanced headphone amplifier that can also serve as an analogue preamplifier. Its high-bandwidth, low-noise JFET input stage provides 1 MΩ input impedance. Independent input, volume, amplification and output circuits maintain the balanced architecture, while two MUSES72320 devices provide 100 volume positions.

A custom R-Core transformer and 26,000 µF of supply filtering support the amplifier circuits. Three headphone connection formats cover single-ended and balanced use: 6.3 mm, 4.4 mm and four-pin XLR. Rear RCA and XLR line outputs allow the same component to control a separate power amplifier or active-speaker system.
