Thesis Lambda is an analogue preamplifier with five line inputs, a motorised volume control and remote source selection. Heed’s Transcap preamplification is used in a circuit designed around a deliberately focused analogue signal path.
Volume-controlled preamplifier outputs and fixed-level line outputs support separate power amplification and recording equipment. Audio and control circuitry use separated power supplies to keep their functions apart.
Lambda operates from its internal power supply and can be upgraded with the optional Thesis Pi external supply. This allows the preamplifier to start as a self-contained component and become part of a more extensively separated Thesis system.
